A Federal High Court in Abuja has struck out the N10 billion
suit by former governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam challenging his long
detention by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Justice Gabriel Kolawole today struck out th suit after counsel to Suswam, Joseph Daudu (SAN) applied to withdraw it.
Daudu informed the court that the ex-governor has been
released by the DSS and is currently under instruction by doctors to be on bed
rest.
Suswam trial on fresh criminal charges is expected to being on Thursday.
