Morata Set For Chelsea Medical Ahead Of Move

Premier League Champions, Chelsea have reached agreement with Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata for a fee reported to be 80 million euros.

Spanish radio, Cadena Ser said on Wednesday, “He has reached an agreement with Chelsea and is right now looking for a flight to London.”

The radio station explain further that the striker will be leaving the Real Madrid training camp in the United States as soon as he can.

The Blues had tabled a £ 62 million (70m euros, $ 80 m) bid for the 24 – year- old last week but Madrid, have agreed the sale for 80 million euros.

Cadena Cer added, “Real Madrid will get 80 million euros for the sale, and the deal will be signed to make him a Stamford Bridge player.”

The European champions brought Morata back from a loan spell at Juventus a year ago, where he played under the now Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

Morata would replace Diego Costa, whom Conte told at the end of last season he was no longer needed at the club.

Chelsea To Table €80m Bid For Morata

Chelsea are set to table a €80million bid for Real Madrid striker, Alvaro Morata, after missing out on Romelu Lukaku.

Spanish outfit, AS, reports that Antonio Conte has turned his search for a new frontman to Spain, after losing out to Manchester United on his number one target this summer.

Morata himself had seemingly been on course to United, with Chelsea favourites to sign Lukaku, but the situation has now been turned on its head.

The Spain striker’s representatives have said he will “keep fighting”.

“We must keep fighting, as there’s no alternative,” is the comment coming from Morata’s camp, according to Spanish publication, Marca.

Morata had previously hinted he would love to work with Blues boss, Antonio Conte, at some point in his career.

Morata: Abramovich Approves £70m For Madrid Attacker

Chelsea owner, ​Roman Abramovich​, has ​​​sanction​ed ​£70m bid f​or​ Manchester United​ target, Alvaro Morata.

Morata, 24, has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford​ after ​Jose Mourinho identified him as his ​replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

United have already had a £52.4m approach knocked back by Real Madrid.

Mirror reports that ​with Diego Costa set to leave Stamford Bridge after revealing he is no longer in Antonio Conte’s plans, Chelsea have strengthened their bid for Morata.

Real doled out around £25m to re-sign the Spain international last summer.

But he struggled for regular game time on his return to the club, starting just 14 league matches all season.

Meanwhile, Abramovich is said to be considering a move for Christiano Ronaldo.

The Russian billionaire declared interest after Ronaldo said he will leave Spain over tax fraud allegations.

Mourinho Convincing Morata To Join Madrid

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has apparently won the race to sign Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, after convincing the player that he would be a major leader in his attack next season.

Spanish newspaper, Marca, reports that Mourinho told the striker that United would be the perfect club for 

him at this stage of his career.

Morata looks likely to quit the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, after failing to secure a regular first-team place under Zinedine Zidane last season. Despite his limited playing time, he still managed to score 20 goals for the La Liga and Champions League winners.

Mourinho is now pushing for the player, who he gave his first professional contract at Madrid.

United have already announced a deal for Victor Lindelof from Benfica  and are set to splash the cash, ahead of their return to the Champions League next year.
