Biafra: You Are Rudderless, Short of Ideas - MASSOB Tell Northern Youths

The Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has fried back at Northern youths over their recent call on the United National to list the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB as a terrorist group.

MASSOB said the group was made up of confused and directionless people who were bereft of the meaning of terrorist and what constituted terrorism.

The pro-Biafra group a statement by its National Director of Information, Comrade Edeson Samuel said the Norther youths were limited by their lack of education and therefore should not be blamed for not knowing the difference between terrorist, terrorism and self determination.

He said, “These Northern youths who want United National to list IPOB as a terrorist group are confused and directionless group who do not know the meaning of terrorist and what constitutes terrorism.

“MASSOB will not blame them because they are limited by lack of education as most of them are illiterates,uneducated and charlatans who did not know the difference between terrorism and self determination.

“The Northern elites are using them to cause trouble because they are desperate to control Nigeria by all means by using Northern youths to intimidate Nigerians when they feel their hold on to power is threatened, and these Northern group forgot that they have ruled Nigeria for 20years from 1979 to 1999, there was no complain from the Southern part of Nigeria.”

According to MASSOB, “the Northerners are to be blame for crisis Nigeria, their believe in “born to rule has failed them,that is why they are shouting and complaining creating confusion in the society.

“The Northern youth should have first of tell United Nations to declare Fulani herdsmen who went about killing and raping women and destroying people farm land as terrorists, these Northern youths are so blind that they cannot see the havoc the brothers are doing communities in the name of herdsmen.

“They want United Nation to label IPOB a terrorist organization because they are seeking like other Biafra agitating groups for self determination, when they use Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen to kill and maim people and yet they have not been declared terrorists region. United Nations is made up of enlightened and educated people, they cannot respond to such laughable and unrealistic call because they know the meaning of what IPOB, MASSOB and other Biafra agitating groups are doing.

“MASSOB is therefore warning Arewa elders and their youths to mind their utterances because Ndigbo and Biafrans cannot be intimidated by their antics of the people who have continued the set Nigeria back and yet they want to hold on to power by all means.”

Nnamdi Kanu Must Be Punished – Arewa Youth President, Shettima

President of the Arewa Youth Coalition, Yarima Shettima, has said that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, must be punished.

Shettima, in an interview with Tribune, stated that Kanu is someone “who has terrorised the country”.

“We will go as far to ensure that we take him to the international court of justice. We will internationalise his case and ensure that this young man is declared a terrorist. He can’t be allowed to go just like that.

“To us, we are seeing what he is doing as a business venture. So, as far as we are concerned, a country should not be run as a banana republic where somebody can do anything and get away with it, without respect for the rule of law,” he said.

Shettima also disclsoed that the group was reviewing its stand on the quit notice issued to Igbos living in north.

“The steps taken by the governors are commendable. One, we have since expected the governors to do what they are doing now. Nevertheless, it is better late than never for.

“What the Ohanaeze and other organisations that came out to denounce the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are doing is commendable.

“We are also reviewing our own situation. We are going to have a meeting soon with other leaders of the coalition and come out with a clear position of things and what we intend to do in order to move forward,” he added.

He, however, stated that the call for the evacuation of the Igbo from the north was not totally off the table.

“I am not saying we have completely removed the earlier condition that they should leave the north. However, the fact of the matter still remains that one, we are not violent.

“Secondly, we intend also to explore all necessary avenues and ensure that, at the end of the day, things are being done in accordance with the law.

“Inasmuch as we appreciate the fact that it is their right to demand self-determination, we are also saying, if you are asking for self-determination, there are certain procedures to go about it,” Shettima stated.

Igbo Governors, Ohanaeze Have United With The North Against South East - IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has accused South East governors of working with “Hausa, Fulani” oligarchy to frustrate the people of the region.

A statement by its Head of Directorate of State, Chika Edoziem, also accused the Igbo socio-political organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo and some other politicians in the region of doing same.

The group alleged that as long as their masters are pleased with their work of ensuring that Biafra people are “economically, linguistically, religiously, politically and culturally emasculated,” they do not “give a damn.”

Edoziem said, “Biafrans must understand that Ohanaeze Ndigbo, governors of South-East states of Biafra, and a good number of the present crop of politicians are serving the interest of their benefactors, the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy, that put them in power.

“They, therefore, in the first place, do not give any consideration about the sorry state of affairs in Biafraland. As long as their masters are pleased with their work of ensuring that the Biafran people are economically, linguistically, religiously, politically and culturally emasculated, they do not give a damn.”

My Death Will Speed Up The Actualization Of Biafra - Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has declared that it was better he died fighting for the actualization of Biafra.

Kanu also alleged that the government was using the media to spread false information about him and his agitation for Biafra.

In an interview with SarahaReporters, Kanu revealed that the people in power know that he was the right person to lead the people, thereby employing all means to make him lose the support of his people.

Nnamdi reiterated that nothing can make them reverse on their decision from breaking away from Nigeria.

“There is absolutely nothing anybody can do. We have crossed the point of no return and there is nothing anybody can do, if I am alive or dead wherever I may be, Biafra will come. If I die, it will be better because it will even make it come quicker.

“The media has an interest in maintaining one Nigeria with those that loot, steal and cheat in the political landscape. The more Nigeria continues, the more this criminal and rogues get fatter.

“All those spreading nonsense about Nnamdi Kanu know that Nnamdi Kanu is the only person capable of articulating a policy that can get people out of the mess that we are in.

“The government wants us to remain poor, they know what they are saying is false but they continue to say so.

“People should be more concerned with the gross abuse of human rights being perpetrated by DSS, Police, and Army.

“They should ask questions on Amnesty report, the mass grave in army barracks in Onitsha, bad roads despite the resources in the country and unemployed graduates.

“The government understands that Nnamdi Kanu means well for the people, downtrodden and those who are suffering, so they turn your mind around because they know you are not disciplined enough to understand that you need to stand your ground to demand what is yours. That is why it is very easy to twist the mind of a black mind.”
