Antonio Conte has left Diego Costa out of their Chelsea’s
squad for the Champions League group stage.
The Spain striker is yet to play for the Premier League
champions this season, after failing to secure a move away during the transfer
window.
Costa’s omission has been regarded by many, as Chelsea still
hoping to business for the 28-year-old in January.
With a possible move to Atletico Madrid still on the cards,
the Blues want to ensure he is not cup-tied for the rest of the reason.
The list cannot be updated again until after the group
stage.
Manchester United have surprisingly named Zlatan Ibrahimovic
and James Wilson in their own squad.
Liverpool have left out Nathaniel Clyne, Danny Ings and
Lazar Markovic, but have included Philippe Coutinho, who failed to engineer a
move to Barcelona.
