The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in kogi State has criticized the activities of governor Yahaya Bello.

They accused Bello of feeding the public with lies and that he had nothing on ground that points to economic growth in the state.
PDP in a statement signed by its State Publicity Secretary, Bode Ogunmola accused the governor of disregarding the laid down rules and procedures in carrying out government business.
Ogunmola said “Our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Kogi State chapter has watched with dismay the ongoing emasculation of the socio-economic development of the state under the Yahaya Bello led administration.
“Apart from outright disregard for laid down rules and procedures in carrying out government business, Governor Yahaya Bello has been feeding the public with lies through his propaganda machinery. Nothing on ground in kogi state points to economic growth.
“In fact, the spending of the state funds on frivolities with reckless abandon is seriously disheartening.”
The state main opposition party also condemned the recent political rally held in Okene where over 10,000 PDP members reportedly decamped to the ruling all progressives Congress (APC).
“Unfortunately, the recent absurdity promoted by INEC in the case of double registration involving Governor Yahaya Bello has emboldened him to violate another electoral law with the recent political rally he organised in Okene purportedly to receive food is ready politicians from PDP to his party.
