Juventus has swatted away an aggressive attempt by Chelsea
to sign striker Gonzalo Higuain.
Italian outlet, Tuttosport, reports that the Premier League
champions sent in a €100million offer for the Argentina international and
showed interest in Alex Sandro as well.
But Juventus told them the two players were not for sale.
Blues boss Antonio Conte is desperate to land a striker
before the new season kicks off, after telling Diego Costa to leave Stamford
Bridge.
Chelsea almost sealed a return for Romelu Lukaku but
Manchester United stopped the move.
Conte is also believed to be interested in Real Madrid’s
Alvaro Morata and Torino’s Andrea Belotti.
