Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain might quit Arsenal this summer,
after getting increasingly frustrated at the lack of activity over a new
contract at the club.
The England international is eager to resolve his future and
was expecting the Gunners to begin talks quickly. However the Premier League
side are yet to formally offer him a new deal.
This uncertainty has drawn the attention of rivals Chelsea,
Liverpool and Manchester City.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was one of Arsenal’s top performers
during last season’s run-in, as manager Arsene Wenger switched to a back three
and finished the campaign strongly with the FA Cup.
The 23-year-old was told that he could expect a quick
conclusion regarding his new deal with Arsenal eager to secure their attacker’s
future. However, nearly a month after the end of the season, formal talks are
yet to commence.
Oxlade-Chamberlain only has 12 months left on his current
deal.
