Committee, Alhaji Adamu Dankwangila, disclosed this after inspecting some of
the centres in Gusau.

the state, especially the less privileged, orphans, disabled persons and the
needy.
“The feeding programme was aimed at reducing the sufferings
of the people, especially in the holy month of Ramadan. About 200
people break their fast at each of the 251 centres on a daily basis.
“More than 600 people were employed for the programme across
the state, including 251 women vendors who cook the food, 125 distributors, 125

The chairman urged members of the committees to ensure
justice and fairness while discharging their duties.
He appealed to Muslims to use the period of the Ramadan fast
