Chelsea midfielder, N’Golo Kante, has won the Football
Writers’ Association Player of the Year for this season.
Last month, the France international was voted as the best
player in England by his fellow professionals, taking home the Professional
Footballers Association (PFA) Player of the Year award.
The former Leicester City midfielder, beat Chelsea team-mate
Eden Hazard and Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic to second and third
places respectively.
Also, Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and
Everton’s Romelu Lukaku were also nominated.
Kante is in line to become the first player, to win the
Premier League title with two different clubs in two successive seasons.
