Anambra State have emerged Winners at the just concluded National
Wushu-KUNGFU open championship which was held at National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos,
from 14th - 20th May, 2017.
The Competition was aimed at the selection of qualified
athletes to represent Nigeria at the African Wushu championship.
Anambra State won 1st position with 12 gold, 5 silver and 3
bronze Medals. Followed by Bayelsa state that came 2nd with 10 gold and 3
silver, Edo State came 3rd with 3 gold and 3 Silver.
The victorious athletes will represent Nigeria at
the forth coming 6th African Wushu championship in Cotonou, Benin Republic,
later in the year.
