Arsenal have kicked off a search for a star striker to
replace contract rebel, Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez has just less than 18 months left on his contract
and negotiation over a new deal has hit a snag.
The 28-year-old who earns £130,000 per week wants a new deal
worth at least £250,000 per week while Arsenal have only offered £180,000 per
week.
With negotiations dragging, Arsenal have accepted that the
striker will leave in the summer and have kicked off their search for a
replacement.
Arsenal have just one transfer window to get a notable sum
for the Chilean and will rather sell him in the summer than allow him to leave
for free.
The club’s scouts have been asked to find forwards worthy
replacements for the striker who joined in 2014.
Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, Borussia
Dortmund’s Marco Reus and Porto’s Andre Silva are
among the first names on the club’s target list.
