Gov Willie Obiano of Anambra State earlier today led his team to pay the last respect to one of his aides, late Hon Robert Egenti at Osile Ogbunike in Oyi local government area of the State.
Until his death, late Egenti who passed on early this year was the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Accounts.
Delivering his condolence message, governor Obiano sympathized with the Egenti Family and the entire Ogbunike community praying God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Consoling his wife, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, who was evidently saddened by the great loss, alongside the immediate family of the deceased, the governor eulogized the late Egenti saying "he was a nice man who did his work diligently with the fear of God."
The governor assured the bereaved family of the continued support of his administration and stated that ndi Ogbunike shall rejoice for having him as their in-law.
Explaining that his administration met a town without good roads, governor Obiano announced that asphalting shall commence on all the ongoing road projects within Ogbunike.
The roads when completed will ease vehicular and human traffic and facilitate the rapid development of the Ogbunike Cave amongst other benefits.
