The South East Governors meeting held at Lions Building, Enugu just ended with the five governors from Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States in attendance.
A summary of the resolution says:
1. Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi has emerged as the new Chairman;
2. South East Governors to combine efforts to ensure the Security of the region;
3. South East Governors to set up a joint team through their Commissioners of Economic Planning to map out the master plan for the economic development of the region;
4. South East Governors are in total support of the new leadership of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo led by Dr Nnia Nwodo.
