PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
This is to inform the general public that Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA) has commenced decongestion of traffic in key areas within the Awka Territory.
This is in line with its mandate of urban renewal to give Awka Capital a new face. Hence:
• Obey Warning Posts. DO NOT PARK where ‘NO PARKING’ order is posted.
• Contravening ‘NO PARKING’ order attracts the following sanctions:
a. Impounding of vehicle; and
b. Payment of FINES
• All FINES must be paid in Anambra State Government IGR PAY-DIRECT Bank Account.
• Do not pay cash to ANYONE as ACTDA does not authorise cash payment.
• Present the bank payment teller to ACTDA office to obtain a payment receipt before impounded vehicle would be released.
• Insist on receipt of payment and Report any demand of CASH payment by ANYONE to MD/CEO’s office, ACTDA House, Opp. ABS, Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, Awka or 08182445700
