Nigeria's Akwa United Hosts 2-Day Lecture with Linus Mba ahead of the new NPFL Season

A renowned ex FIFA badged referee, FIFA referees advisor and NFF consultant on refereeing Mr. Linus Mba will visit Akwa United's camp for a two day lecture visit from Thursday 5- Friday 6 January 2017.

While in the team's camp in Uyo, Mr. Mba will lecture players and the technical crew of the team on the latest changes in the laws of football and the reasons for such changes.

Chairman of the club Mr. Paul Bassey believes that the the lecture on the rules of the game will have positive impact on players' approach to games in the coming season, adding that " if the players and the technical crew are familiar with the latest changes in the rules of the game, it will help to minimise the rates of fouls during matches and arguments with match officials and this can only be achieved if the players and other officials of the club are conversant with key aspects of the laws of the game".

Mr. Mba will also have another lecture session with referees in the state.
