Since Gabros Intl FC changed to Ifeanyi Ubah FC it has been from one failure to another. Last year 2016 governor of Anambra State His Excellency Chief Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano decided to visit the club that is widely known as Anambra Warriors. On that occasion the club gave him the best jersey of the club with Anambra colour yellow and black with number 21. He prayed for them as the chief executive of the state they represent. Eversince his visit the rest is history. The club has performed well in the Nigerian Premier League, won the Nigerian Football Federation Cup, and started the year 2017 with another bang by wining a silverware as they beat Rangers FC 4-3 on penalty to clinch the NFF Unity cup.
Since Willie Obiano became the governor, security has returned to Anambra State, business has boom in Anambra State, farmers are now smiling as the govt has continued to support them with mechanized farming and agricultural loans, he has continued to electrify our rural areas to discourage rural urban migration, there is mass employment going on in private sectors in Anambra.
With Willie Obiano, Anambra is in safe hands, our children are no more killed in cold blood and dumped in Ezu River, our people are no longer being deported from Lagos/Kano/Abuja/PortHarcourt. Now I feel proud to declare that I am from Anambra. No more communal clashes... No more kidnapping... No more intimidation by other states... We are Anambrarians! Willie Obiano is our governor! We are proud of our state and our governor and we will always be Winners everywhere we go! IVE DIKA WILLIE OBIANO AKOKWANA ANYI OOO!
